Kylie and her Grandpa.
Sitting in Jade's pool.
The middle of June we got to go back to Nebraska for Medicine Creek Days. We stopped at the Edgerton Exploration center. They were doing some remodling so they let us in for free because things were a little bit a mess. It was small but pretty neat. After the long ride, the girls were a little sick of it so we stayed for a bit and left.
There was this Ethanol display which was pretty cool to see.
And the girls loved the bubbles.
Once we got to Cambridge, it was good to see our friends and the girls got to go to the pool. Eric got to fly back from Pennsylvania, so it was great to be able to spend some time with him. On Friday night Kylie was just young enough to do the Big Wheel Races one last year.
And their off!
Such concentration.
This year they started doing Wheel Chair Races for adults. My friend Ann "tricked" me into doing them. Her son Seth was my partner, and there we are in the lead! Just after that Seth threw me out of the chair in front of all of Cambridge.
Scrapped and bloody I got back in the chair and finished the race.
Saturday morning the girls and I ran the Medicine Creek Day's Fun Run, and then I ran the 5k. After some quick showers we got ready for the parade. The girls got to ride in the NCP truck with Mr. Chris. They were not so sure they wanted to go at first but they had fun passing out candy and frisbee's.
