Life according to Karinda and Kylie

They are just a little full of it, or Kylie is at least.
Karinda- Maybe I just won't have a husband...oh but you need a husband to have a baby right???? Oh, o.k. then, and if you didn't have a husband or kids your life would be pretty boring. I want just one kid

(when I reminded her that that one kid would be pretty bored without a brother or a sister)

oh, oh yeah then I want a boy and a girl or maybe two girls, I wouldn't want two boys they are so messy.

When I told her she doesn't get a choice this was her solution....if I have boys I will have them share a bedroom so there is just one messy bedroom. I will get a bunk bed and a trundle.

And if my kids get sick I will just call their grandma to come get the other ones. I said what if I don't live by you?

Oh well then I will just call their aunt. Will there only be one aunt? I told her it depended on the size of her husbands family. Oh, o.k. I get so confused by in laws and and step sisters and all that stuff, she says.

When I grow up I want to live in California they have a lot of beaches right????, no Colorado, or I think Kentucky or Tennessee would be nice. I laughed and said, you have never been to any of those places, she says, I know but Jennika told me it was nice. In the next sentence, I want to live by my family.

Kylie- I am going to just BEG my husband to live in Florida.

I want to have lots of kids, I like kids!

Both- I am going to make sure I pick a good husband so we don't have to get divorced. There are way to many couples around here divorced, I was hoping they didn't think this was normal and apparently they don't!

Wow, it has been awhile...

Wow, does time fly. It really has been the same old same old here. We did make another quick trip to Michigan in the beginning of the month hoping to get one last snowmobiling trip in. The girls decided to stay with grandpa and grandma so Eric and I got to head up there with just the two of us! A lot of the snow was gone but Saturday morning we woke up to 4-6 inches of snow so we got a ride in! We rushed back Sunday morning to celebrate Birthdays with the Brouwers.
We had a lot of Birthday's to celebrate including Karinda's.

For supper we headed back to celebrate Karinda and Carters birthdays with the Meeuwsen's.

We combined Karinda, Kylie, and Kate's birthdays so we could get a Wii, we have been having a lot of fun with it.

Karinda loves taking care of Trey, and she does a pretty good job too.

Grandma made a half blue and half pink cake for the birthday kids.
After all the partying we headed back to Nebraska. The girls do great sleeping in the truck and the trips back and forth have been going well. We leave at night and drive straight through and
we take turns driving, it is beautifully peaceful.

After we got home Karinda got really sick with the stomach flu, and the
worst stomach flu I have ever seen. Our break week did not turn out
quite like I had hoped but the following week they did get to have their
little friend Gaby over for a sleepover.
We also got to go see Todd Burpo speak, he wrote the book "Heaven is for Real." It is an incredible book and was good to hear him speak.
